Mental Health Matters Conference

Supported by the Queensland Government, Solve Squad, Community Partners and additional collaborators presents the Mental Health Matters Conference this October during Mental Health Week 2024, as we shine a spotlight on mental health and well-being.

This empowering event will bring together mental health professionals, advocates, and individuals with lived experiences to discuss the unique challenges faced by individuals and families in navigating mental health support systems.

As well as the official screening of a short film sponsored by Community Partners called “Mind Matters” – highlighting the unique complexities of mental health in the lives of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) individuals.

The conference will offer interactive panels, insightful workshops, and real-life stories, focusing on breaking the stigma around mental health. In addition, lunch and beverages will be provided and an exciting opportunity for networking afterwards.

Let’s come together to foster inclusion, break down barriers around Mental Health and ensure that everyone has access to mental health care, regardless of their background. Together, we can create a future where mental health matters for all.
