Annual Mental Health GP Masterclass

Aurora Health are pleased to invite GPs our Annual Mental Health GP Masterclass presented by four of our leading hospitals, Currumbin Clinic, Robina Private, Belmont Private, and Nundah Private (new).

A multidisciplinary team of 15 local presenters, including Psychiatrists, will guide you through a day of relevant case-study presentations, interactive and engaging panel discussions, as well as informative didactic presentations covering real-world clinical scenarios and key updates in:

1. Novel Treatments – What’s new in 2024 and 2025: Psychedelics, ADHD, and Esketamine in treatment-resistant depression.
2. Trauma, Addictions, and Mood Disorders: Managing an acute crisis and self-harm.
3. Older Persons Psychiatry: Late-life depression, neurocognitive disorders, Parkinson’s and rehabilitation.
4. Women’s and Perinatal Mental Health: Addressing perimenopause, domestic violence, and perinatal depression.

Accreditation (Activity Hours):
This hybrid activity offers RACGP members a hybrid total of 9 activity hours including: 3 Educational Activity (EA), 3 Reviewing Performance (RP), and 4 Measuring Outcomes (MO) points, pending approval by RACGP. MO activity is optional amd all other points are automatically applicable by attending the duration of the conference.
