Gympie Mental Health Community Event – Community Celebrating Together

What’s happening in Gympie on Friday 11/10/2024?

If you’re in Gympie this day, you will probably see something going on in Nelson Reserve at lunchtime, until around 3 pm. YES! You are welcome to come and see what it’s about!

Sooner or later, we all need support with our mental health or a loved one’s mental health- Life is challenging at times. In fact, we all connected in some way, so that our own mental health is affected by other people’s mental health. We are Connecting for Mental Health- the theme of this year’s Mental Health Week!

This event is for EVERYONE. Come along and have a free sausage or two at the sausage sizzle while you see just what supports are available in the Gympie Community for those times when things just aren’t going well.

Various community organizations will be there providing information and fun activities. As you visit different organizations, you will receive a free raffle ticket to go in a draw for a “wellness pack”. What’s in it is a surprize! 😉😀 There will be a draw every half hour during the event, so you don’t need to wait around for hours for the draw. We know people are busy- just pop down to say hello and have a chat! No question is a silly one! Come and connect! You are welcome!
