Get involved in Queensland Mental Health Week and be in the running to win a FitBit thanks to our prize sponsor, the Mental Awareness Foundation. To encourage people to get their event planning underway early, we are offering the first 100 unique people/organisations who register a QMHW event the chance to win one of three FitBit Inspire 2s.
Early bird registrants will go into a random draw, with three lucky winners being sent a prize. Don’t worry if you’ve already registered your event, if you were one of the first 100, you will be included in the prize draw.
In addition to being in the running for one of the prizes, the first 100 unique people/organisations to register events will all receive:
- 2 x QMHW Posters
- 15 x QMHW Brochures
- 1 x Set of 45 QMHW Affirmation Cards
Registering an event is easy and events can be public or private. There is nothing too big or small to register – we want to know about all the events happening during Queensland Mental Health Week. Please make sure to provide your shipping details when registering your event so we can send you the resources.
About the Mental Awareness Foundation
This giveaway has been made possible thanks to the generous support of the Mental Awareness Foundation. The Mental Awareness Foundation was created with the goal of spreading the message of suicide prevention, and raising awareness of depression and mental health issues by empowering organisations and individuals. They aim to empower everyday Australians to take their mental health journey one step at a time.

Terms and Conditions
Early bird event registration giveaway
- The Promoter is Queensland Mental Health Week through CheckUP (ABN 56123426111) of Level 2, 36 Russell Street South Brisbane, Qld 4101.
- Entrants into the 2024 Queensland Mental Health Week Early Bird Event Registration Giveaway will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions
- Entry is open to residents of Queensland except:
- employees of the Promoter and their immediate family members;
- employees of the Queensland Mental Health Commission and their immediate family members;
- persons who have breached the terms and conditions of any promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter.
- To enter the 2024 Queensland Mental Health Week Early Bird Event Registration Giveaway entrants must register their event via the Queensland Mental Health Week website. The Giveaway is open to the first 100 unique users to register events. People who registered events before the start of the Giveaway are considered to have entered unless they opt out.
- The Early Bird Event Registration Giveaway will close once 100 unique users have registered events.
- The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to accept or reject any entry.
- Three winners will be selected by random draw on a date chosen by the Promoter after 100 registrations have occurred.
- Entrants may not win more than one prize. Once an Entrant is determined to have won a prize, they are not eligible for any additional prizes.
- The prize winners will be contacted by CheckUP staff members via the email/phone provided in their event registration.
- The QMHW Instagram page and QMHW Facebook Page will announce the winners.
- If prize winners do not provide CheckUP staff with shipping details within 10 business days of being notified, they will no longer be eligible to receive their prize. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to select alternate winner/s if it determines that the winner/s do not adequately satisfy these Terms.
- Prizes are not transferable and not redeemable for cash. If for any reason a winner does not take the prize, then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu.
- The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to verify, or require the Entrant to verify, the Entrant’s identity, eligibility to enter the Promotion, entry submitted and compliance with these Terms.
- If there is a dispute about the identity of the Entrant, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to determine the identity of the Entrant.
- Entrants’ personal information will not be disclosed to third parties without the Entrant’s consent unless required or authorised by law. View Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
- If the Promotion is compromised in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion. Notice of any changes to the Promotion, including any consequential changes to these Terms, will be given on the website.
- To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any injury, damages, expenses or loss whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) to persons or property arising in any way out of the Promotion.
- Each Entrant indemnifies and keeps indemnified the Promoter against all claims, losses or damages and expenses suffered by the Promoter or any third parties arising out of the breach of these Terms, the conduct of the Entrant in relation to the Promotion or use of a Prize.
- The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspects of the Promotion is final and binding on all Entrants. No correspondence will be entered into regarding such decisions, the Promotion, these Terms or the results.
- Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
