Applications close soon for 2020 grants program
Local community activities during Queensland Mental Health Week (QMHW) provide a focal point for awareness, education and understanding, and help foster community connection and inclusion for those living with mental illness, their families, carers and support people.
Funded by the Queensland Mental Health Commission the QMHW Grants Program is being administered by the Queensland Alliance for Mental Health (QAMH).
There are five different grants amounts being offered in 2020, ranging from $500 to $2500.
Grants can be used to assist with venue and equipment hire, transport costs, refreshments, engaging a mental health specialist, and more!
The grants program is closing soon on Friday 24 July.
To contact QAMH about your grant application, please call 07 3252 9411 or email admin@qamh.org.au.
Remember, events or activities will only be eligible to receive a grant if they occur in QMHW (10-18 October), do not require recurrent funding, and are registered on the QMHW website.
