StandBy Workshop – Supporting Children and Young People Impacted by Suicide

Join us at the Mt Isa Neighbourhood Centre (72 Marian St, Mount Isa) for a Supporting Children and Young People workshop.

Purpose: To increase understanding of the impact of suicide on children and young people and how best to support them.

Topics covered:

• Discuss the impact of trauma and grief of children and young people
• Protective factors and considerations for support
• Maintaining routine/returning to school
• How StandBy can assist
• Sample activities and available resources
• Self-Care
