Visit WebsiteSoroptimist International Moreton North Inc. aka SIMNI invite you to attend our Interactive Mental Health Forum. Join us as we continue our conversations to SHINE A LIGHT on the challenges faced by people in our community who live with an acquired brain injury and/or an invisible illness and those who assist them. The project has three main focus areas, people with an Acquired Brain Injury, Women’s Gynae Health, and other invisible illnesses including mental health, social isolation and loneliness. We encourage you to like/follow our designated Shine the Light on Invisible Illness Facebook page.
The SIMNI interactive Mental Health Forum includes a Q&A panel discussion on mental health from those with a lived experience, stress management tools, resources and information, make new friends and is a safe and sacred space so that we can keep the conversations going on how to reduce stigmas of invisible illness, social isolation and loneliness.
This interactive mental health forum is a part of our SIMNI Shine the Light on Invisible Illness Partnership Project.
This is a free event, however registrations are essential for resources/catering purposes. RSVP 7th October by emailing your details to simoretonnorth@siswp.org
