Share your story

Sharing your story can be a powerful way to inspire others.

We are looking for stories that will help raise awareness of the importance of mental health and wellbeing, increase understanding of mental illness and recovery, and highlight the positive impact Queensland Mental Health Week events can have on Queensland communities. These can either be individual stories about your own mental health experiences and involvement in QMHW, or stories about events you held during QMHW.

Format
You can submit written stories and pictures though our online forms linked above.

We are also looking for people telling their stories with a video. If you would be willing to make a video, you can indicate that in the form.

How will my story be used?

Individual and event stories may be used on the Queensland Mental Health Week website, in our eNews, and on social media. Stories will also give us feedback about how QMHW can be improved. There is no guarantee that submitted stories will be published but they will all be read. We will let you know if we intend to share your story and confirm with you that you are comfortable with it being shared. Please note that we reserve the right to edit stories and pictures before sharing. We may edit them for spelling/grammar, conciseness, etc.

By submitting the form, you are acknowledging that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions.
