Queensland Mental Health Commission
The Queensland Mental Health Commission is committed to improving the mental health and wellbeing of all Queenslanders and minimising the impact of substance misuse in our communities. QMHC brings together expertise by partnering with community, government, and industry across a range of areas, including health, employment, education, housing and justice. They find solutions and guide action to improve the systems that support people with, or who are at higher risk of mental illness or substance misuse, as well as their families, carers, support people.
CheckUP
CheckUP has proudly coordinated Queensland Mental Health Week since 2018. In addition to coordinating the week, they have administered the Grants Program since 2021.
CheckUP is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to better health for people and communities who need it most. They work with partner organisations and health providers to create healthier communities and reduce health inequities.

The Mental Awareness Foundation are proud to support Queensland Mental Health Week as a prize sponsor. Twinkl provides high-quality, trusted educational materials, which are all teacher-created and checked and are aligned to the Australian Curriculum.
Mental health can be a tricky subject and it’s essential teachers receive the right materials to suit their classroom. That’s why Twinkl has partnered with CheckUP to create free QMHW resources. These resources aim to open up discussions about mental health and to help teach children how to express their feelings and emotions and act on those emotions in a positive way.
Mood Food Nutrition
Mood Food Nutrition is a Queensland based company who offer an evidence based dietary program designed to improve mental health. Mood Food is designed by Accredited Practising Dietitians. They have kindly supported Queensland Mental Health Week by producing a healthy catering resource for event organisers.
